Whetung
Ojibwa Centre
Experience the beauty of our history and
gain insight to the present during your visit to the Whetung Ojibwa
Centre. Traditional and contemporary artistic expressions of Canada's
First Nations have been gathered from the tribes across the continent
and housed in a stunning log building guarded by huge totem poles.
The moment you walk through our doors, your Native Canadian adventure
begins. Whetung Ojibwa Centre has ensured that your visit is a culturally
diversified journey. You'll see everything from an authentic Inuit
kayak to a 16 ft single piece birch bark canoe. We have over 10,000
square feet of Native and Canadian items.

are displayed next to a museum of local history. On the site we
have landscaped picnic grounds and a Native restaurant.
