Welcome to the beautiful Kawartha lakes of Ontario, Canada

Our gently sloping beach spans a quarter of the 180 m shoreline (or 600 feet). Whether you splash from the diving platform or sun tan on our sandy beach, your kids can join in the fun with you. For the more energetic, you can try out our water craft - canoes, row boats, or kayaks to explore along the lake. Pigeon Lake is well known for bass, walleye, pickerel and occasional muskie.

The annual fishing tournament is in July. Motor boat rentals are available upon request.

There are also parklands in the resort for your choice of lawn games, such as horseshoes, scratch soccer, volleyball, or badminton. There is a children's playground in a shady valley, with swings and a slide. A basketball net is also available on the paved court. A little further, behind the hill, is the go-kart track, mini-golf, giant checker board, and croquet.

The cottages stretch back from the beach, at the edge of grass and treed parkland.

They vary in size and layout, from a 2-person studio unit up to a 10-person family cottage.

All cottages have fully equipped kitchens with air conditioning units, including fridge, stove, microwave, small kitchen appliances, dishes, pots, pans, cutlery, even a corkscrew
and a can opener!

In addition, all have TV/VCR's, wall-to-wall carpet, and gas BBQ's on the deck.

If there is a program you really cannot miss, we now have satellite TV in Cedar Retreat.

For the safety and health of our guests, we do not allow pets and there is no smoking inside the cottages. Ashtrays are provided on the deck.
