The Old Bridge Inn
Welcome
to the Old Bridge Inn, a quaint little hideaway originally built
in 1887. At that time it was operated as a general store known as
"Kearney Store". This is a wonderful, old building resonant
with history.
A seven-room Bed and Breakfast, the Old Bridge
Inn is the perfect holiday destination from which you can explore
all the riches of Kawartha country. The inn's licensed dining room
is open for lunch and dinner year round. Dining is casual with an
emphasis on high quality and service.
Although it's true that the Kawarthas has always
offered a vast array of wonderful and rewarding vacation activities,
there has never been a more perfect time to choose the Old Bridge
Inn as your holiday destination.
The
Inn is a great spot to "hang your hat" for a few days
and explore all the riches of Kawartha country: Petroglyphs Provincial
Park, Warsaw Caves and, of course, the many renowned art and native
galleries. Naturally you'll want to leave lots of time to explore
on foot. Nine acres of conservation area forest are yours to discover.
Or spend a few hours shopping or enjoying a summer cruise on Stoney
Lake - departing daily from Young's Point. Prefer fishing? Rumours
suggest that "the big one" is still waiting to be caught.
Our comfortable and casual atmosphere, combined
with excellent cuisine, will ensure that the Old Bridge Inn becomes
your favourite place to dine.
