Ardagh Cottage Resort is a small, friendly, housekeeping cottage resort on scenic Lovesick Lake in the beautiful Kawartha Lakes region of Ontario, Canada. Lovesick Lake is located on the Trent Severn Waterway System between Stony Lake and Lower Buckhorn Lake.

It offers beautiful scenery, great fishing, and easy access to 386 kilometers (240 mi.) of fabulous boating through the Trent System. Whether you're looking for a relaxing getaway, fun vacation for the whole family, or an opportunity to fish the Kawartha Lakes, Ardagh Cottage Resort can meet your vacation needs.

Ardagh Cottage Resort has 9 spacious, well-separated, maintained and equipped cottages, and one bedsitting apartment, in a well treed lakefront setting. Each cottage is unique, offering its own character and charm. All have screened-in porches in which you can relax while enjoying the peace and serenity, eat your meals outdoors and spend evenings chatting with family and friends while listening to the call of the loon.

Fishing

The Kawartha Lakes in Ontario are renowned fishing waters for smallmouth and largemouth bass, walleye (pickerel) and the mighty muskellunge. Walleye in the one to two pound range are plentiful, and some are also being caught in the 6 - 8 pound range. Bass fishing has been terrific throughout the season in recent years, and, increasingly, anglers are coming to the Kawarthas especially for the plentiful panfish. But, the special challenge remains the muskellunge -good sized muskie are being caught each year, and many more of even greater size have fueled exciting tales of "the one that got away"!
