The Nepean Museum
As we're proud to say...
"the best things in Life, are
STILL free"
Open evenings and guided tours by
appointment
Located
in the heart of Nepean's, City View community in Ottawa, the nation's
capital. The Nepean Museum, features displays about what makes Nepean
special in the hearts of it's residents. A rotating exhibit hall
is kept fresh with new displays featuring the private collections
of people from all over Ottawa. Teddy Bears, toys, antique radios,
cameras, militaria and model ships were featured earlier this year.
A children's "please do touch" area is designed to look
like a 19th century mercantile. Try your hand at the cash register,
or even the 1936 Bell operator's switching station!
