The
Wingle Inn
" Where Rustic Setting and Fine Dining
Mingle"
The triple-gabled Wingle Inn, made famous in a
painting by A.J. Casson, one of Canada's Group of Seven, is a 140-year-old
stone farmhouse located in the beautiful Madawaska valley. The Inn
sits on 177 acres of forests, sloping lawns and gardens, and features
a sparkling one-acre pond. The view in every direction is breathtaking
and the serenity is palpable.
All rooms include
a full country breakfast with an "added touch". Special
requests are encouraged and honoured (if it all possible). Evening
meals, featuring fine Italian cuisine. All meals are homemade, using
fresh ingredients and local produce. Excellent service, attention
to detail, and beautiful surroundings make for a truly memorable
dining experience.

We offer 7 charming guest rooms (four in the farmhouse and three
in an annexed building) with single, twin, queen and king size beds.
3 of our rooms have a shared bath, four rooms include an ensuite.
Attractions:
Excellent fishing, swimming, canoeing, white water rafting, rock-hounding,
bird watching and nature trails. Hundreds of kilometers of trails
for hiking, cycling, and cross country skiing. In winter, snowmobiling,
snowshoeing and dog sledding.
