The Olde Bytown Bed & Breakfast
Your host: Midi Coker
We welcome you to the Olde Bytown Bed &
Breakfast. Located in a large Victorian house in the downtown Sandy
Hill, overlooking beautiful Strathcona Park. Built in the heyday
of Sir John A. Macdonald,
the nation's first Prime Minister, our home is nestled among lilac
trees on Embassy row opposite the restored fountain which creates
an especially romantic atmosphere.
A Queen size bed, antiques and photographs of Kings
and Queens makes up the Royal Room. It has a beautiful working fireplace
the guests can enjoy
during the winter. A private ensuite completes the room. The Royal
is often used by honeymooners or the romantically inclined! The
bedcovers are done in white Battenburg lace.
This room offers the choice of 2 twin beds or
a Kingsized bed. Done up in white lace, this room is named after
a sunflower photograph which was presented to me by the company
I was associated with in England. There are beautiful little touches
of sunflowers on the pillows and towels. This has a four piece private
bathroom.
