"Located in the heart of tender fruit and wine country" Historic Century home and unique example of Canadian architecture. This home was originally built in 1819 as a one level farmhouse. A second storey was added in 1889, and an east-wing build and completed in 1945.
The quality of this home is evident in the 12 foot high ceilings, cornice moldings and original fixtures. The front entrance leads through a decorative arch to the central staircase, ascending to a half landing with an entrance to the east wing then on to the second floor. A cozy reading area separates the spacious bedrooms where large windows invite guests to linger and enjoy the lovely view of the surrounding orchards.
