Birch Lodge
A pleasant welcome awaits you at Birch Lodge as
you come and enjoy the seasons and relax on the peaceful shores
of Granary Lake (Magog Lake)! We are located in the Canadian Northeast,
between Sudbury and Sault Ste. Marie, just fifteen kilometres north
of Blind River.
Accommodations
Birch Lodge is proud to offer clean and bright housekeeping accommodations,
each overlooking beautiful Granary Lake and within 100 feet from
the water. They are fully equipped with electricity, hot water and
a three (3)-piece or four (4)-piece bathrooms, fridge, four (4)-burner
stoves with oven, along with wood-burning stoves for heat (wood
provided). The kitchens come with pots and pans, dishes, glasses
and cutlery. We also supply dish towels, dishcloths, scouring pads
and dish soap along with Kleenex, paper towels and toilet paper.
All bedding, comforters and pillows are provided as well along with
an extra blanket for those cool nights. Outside, you will have a
propane BBQ with utensils and propane is provided, as well as a
picnic table.
Fishing
Do some serious fishing or spend time with the children. Granary
offers some very good fishing. There are Lake Trout, Northern Pike,
Bass and Perch. Guided fishing trips available upon request.
Hiking
& Nature
The Voyageur Trail offers some of the most
wonderful scenery around. Have a chance to see our wildlife and
spectacular mountaintop views! Even in winter, this trial offers
some great sights as well as some good cross-country skiing.
Canoeing
Take a canoe trip for the day, you can have
a guided trip or venture out on your own. We will bring you to your
starting point and pick you up at the end of your trip. You can
bring your own canoe, or we will provide you with one.

ATVing
We have plenty of smooth and rough terrain
that will take you to some wonderful spots for scenery, fishing,
relaxing of just an enjoyably great time.Guided tours are also available
for fishing, hunting, or viewing the wildlife.
Tubing
Great fun for the whole family!
Our two-man tube is quite safe, no need to go overboard
unless you so desire. We pull you behind our own boat.
Snowmobiling
Our winters speak for themselves. For the snowmobile
enthusiast, we are only minutes from all major trails.
At the end of your fine snowmobiling trip, take
time to relax and enjoy our sauna and hot tub.
