The Algonquin Inn has been welcoming guests with our special brand of hospitality since 1990. Situated on beautiful Oxtongue Lake , the Inn offers fabulous lakeshore views, high quality accommodations and a dining room.

We are proud to be able to offer you the opportunity to experience the serenity of our area and to be the closest full service lakefront resort west of world famous Algonquin Park.

Fully renovated and sparkling clean Waterfront rooms with private patios, Anniversary Suites, Housekeeping cottages some with fireplaces and jacuzzi tub. All rooms are non-smoking. All units are designed for two. Non-smoking licensed dining room. Canoes, rowboat and tour boat rides complimentary. Hike in Algonquin Park , a photo paradise, world class bird watching. See moose, deer, and bear. On Highway 60 just 5 minutes west of Algonquin Park on the shores of beautiful Oxtongue Lake.

Algonquin Inn offers a variety of clean quiet rooms designed for discerning adults. We offer regular standard high quality rooms, waterfront deluxe accommodations, Anniversary and Honeymoon Suites. We are sure to have the perfect room for you. Each of our well-appointed rooms has its own charm, amenities can include: King or Queen sized beds, Whirlpool tubs, Screened porches, All rooms are non-smoking, Private Patios.

As a full service resort, the Algonquin Inn has a Licensed Non-smoking Dining Room, Lounge & Bar with fireplaces, serving home cooked meals. Our menu provides for many selections, complete with appetizers and dessert, served in our country style dining room. Guests may choose either a continental buffet style breakfast in our lounge during the summer or to go through to our restaurant for something more substantial from our a la carte menu. Our banquet room can accommodate up to 40 people for special occasions.

Weather permitting, our tour boat will take you around Oxtongue Lake for an informative, fun cruise. Our canoes and row boat can be used to explore Oxtongue Lake with many private wilderness areas. All complimentary.

Enjoy the sandy beach and lovely views from our waterside gazebo and sundeck or your own private lakeside patio.

AREA ACTIVITIES
Canoe to the world famous Ragged Falls or explore the rock cliffs just a short distance from our sandy beach. Take the time to explore the many spectacular natural wonders throughout the area.

We cater to adults who love the outdoors and offer incredible opportunities for wildlife watching including moose, deer, bear, many species of birds and several of nature's other furry friends. Bird watchers from around the world come to the area for spectacular bird watching in the early spring. For those who enjoy painting or photography of traditional Muskoka scenes and wildlife the area is superb.

  • Casino Rama is a favorite destination
  • Opportunities for painting and photography are endless
  • For sports enthusiasts, the area has excellent mountain biking, hiking and cross-country ski trails.
