Schaferhof Bed & Breakfast
Schaferhof
is a beautiful country home, set on fifteen acres of woods and
field. A scenic twenty-minute drive through the country takes
you to the city of Niagara Falls, and the famous Falls themselves.
The main house has three guest bedrooms
and a large, shared bathroom. Breakfast is served in the dining
area, and guests are welcome to use the spacious upstairs living
room during their stay. A large west-facing balcony is ideal for
watching our fabulous summer sunsets.
Guest
House
Our small separate guest house is perfect for 4 people travelling
together, as the two rooms have a connecting door that can be
opened for easy access, or kept shut for privacy. A family or
4 friends will find it's great for a weekend getaway.
Niagara Room 
Our most popular room, the Niagara features local art and books.
Queen size bed, this room has an ensuite bathroom, private entrance,
T.V. coffee maker. This room in the small separate guest house
is perfect for those wanting privacy and comfort.
Ontario Place
This is the other room in the small separate guest house. Ensuite
bath 
like
the Niagara, this one features twin beds.
Garden Path
Our Garden Path room is decorated with photos of some of the flowers
on our property, and in the general area. Queen size bed and antique
dresser finish it off nicely. Shared bath.
All
our guests are welcome to enjoy our back yard and patio, which
includes a large fire pit for barbequeing. One of our homegrown
steaks tastes much better when grilled on a real wood fire!
The Schaferhof farm is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including
wild birds, a few cows, lots of rabbits, ducks and geese, several
cats, and one large but very loveable (and entirely gentle) German
Shepherd named Buck.
