Enhance
your trip to the 1000 Islands with a visit to the Heritage Centre
located adjacent to the Gananoque Boatline on the shores of the
St. Lawrence River. Past and Present meet on the shores of the
River. The two-story Victorian "Grand Cottage" welcomes
visitors to experience the rich natural and cultural history of
the 1000 Islands.

Gallery presents original art by local professional and amateur
artists. Our distinctive Canadian Gift Shop offers quality gifts,
souvenirs and clothing from the 1000 Islands.
Attractions:
"History, Life and
Times in the 1000 Islands"Displays highlight the natural
and cultural heritage of the 1000 Islands and Region - "Ice
Age", island formation, ecosystems, "the Golden Era",
military actions and more.
"From Crystals to
Gems" a travelling exhibit from the Canadian Museum of Nature
will be on display April through August. With "Monarchs"
also from the Canadian Museum of Nature on display September through
October.
After a guided or self-guided
tour which takes 20-30 minutes take a short climb to our Lookout
Tower to view the magnificent St. Lawrence River and the Admiralty
Group Islands.
